What is a Yurt?
Our yurts are a modern take on an ancient shelter used as a traditional nomadic home in Mongolia and surrounding areas, typically referred to as a Ger or Üy . They were widely used for thousands of years and leave modern day architects marveling at the wonder of Yurts. Much like modern day yurts, there are variations of ancient yurts. The two main ancient designs were Ger and Üy (or bentwood yurt). The Ger is the older of the two, which has a relatively heavy center ring known as the crown and straight rafters spanning from the crown to the lattice wall (khana). This is the style our yurts have modeled giving us the most eco-friendly and sustainable yurts currently available.
Our grounds features three yurts each are 20' featuring 314 square feet of living space, a full bathroom with tub, and a mini-kitchen.
